#0853.K6 Nagatani Tea: Naturally Grown Gokou Matcha - Limited Edition Single Cultivar - Ujitawara, KyotoThis limited edition Gokou single cultivar Uji matcha from Nagatani Tea impressed us with its relatively creamy taste for an organic matcha. Smooth instead of rich, with a pleasant but not overwhelming umami flavor a light astringency. Organic matcha (in this case, the inner bag was certified, but we have not certified our own packaging) is generally very light in comparison with conventionally grown leaf which is heavily fertilized for great flavor
