The Hybrid Brazilian wood was purchased from a luthier who passed away. Dana bought it as genuine Brazilian Rosewood and it has a similar weight to Brazilian, and smells like Brazilian, however, due to the striking coloration and atypical grain patterning, he is of the opinion that this is most likely a hybridized version.
