Their collaboration—aptly named Charles and Charles—has yielded a single vineyard dry rosé and a red blend from the Wahluke Slope of Washington State

The grapes are destemmed and given a cold soak prior to fermentation and ageing in cask (10-15% new)

dense and deep wine

long and tasty

while the palate offers a textural combination of red fruits and a hint of earthy tanginess

Poor and shallow mica schist

and rosemary will soon fill the room

with a great core of fruit
