Description

Marchesi di Gresy Barbera d'Asti 2024

and it may not be built for the longest haul

Domaine de Piaugier is one of those little but great French wine discoveries: an everyday wine you don’t find every day

but by balance — ripe fruit tempered by ocean air

with ripe raspberry

sour cherry skins

” – Kerin O’Keefe

The fruit expression is so dynamic and engaging

with hints of violets and dried bay leaf

The soil is poor and the slope is steep

which produce arguably the most exquisite grapes

penetrating finish

There’s a gentle graphite and crushed stone note running underneath
